Halina Cegielski is a diligent, bilingual, result-driven professional with extensive mediation, negotiation, litigation, as well as client representation experience. For the last 14 years, she represented major corporations in multidimensional types of court proceedings including civil trials, code enforcement hearings and mediation.
Ms. Cegielski is experienced in providing legal counseling and reaching settlements for major corporations. She focuses on developing positive working relationships with diverse clients, external legal teams and other stakeholders at all levels.
Ms. Cegielski earned her Bachelor of Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. She then attended the University of Miami School of Law and earned her J.D. While studying law, she assisted the professor in writing an article on international human rights law published in New York Law School Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Ms. Cegielski is Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and Family Mediator and conducted over 1000 mediations in the past 11 years.
She is a founder and sole practitioner of H Legal Solutions, P.A. since 2009.
When Ms. Cegielski is not practicing law, she enjoys outdoor activities, the beach, boating, global travel, reading and meditating. Ms. Cegielski gives back to her community and supports causes close to her heart.
After graduating law school, she served as Auction Chair for 3 years in a row for the Fundraiser “For the Public Good” at Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc and was the recipient of “Volunteer Shining Star” award.
More recently, Ms. Cegielski was a Committee Board Member for successful 2016 Judicial Election Campaign.
Currently, Ms. Cegielski participates in Junior Achievement USA volunteering her time at local elementary school by teaching 5th graders.
Ms. Cegielski also volunteers at Equine Rescue & Adoption Foundation together with her 11-year-old daughter. This not-for-profit organization devoted to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, abandoned, neglected and slaughter-bound horses in South Florida fulfills her love for animals.
Ms. Cegielski is fluent in Polish and proficient in Russian. She is a member of Florida Bar in good standing since 2005.
